Dan Harsh started Concept Services in February of 2002 with the support of his wife, Val Harsh, in the basement of their family home. His attention to detail, creativity and “big picture” mindset gave him the qualities needed to lead this company from its inception and through the countless challenges it has faced. This hard-working mentality is what influenced Dan to identify our company’s core philosophy of “Concept, Process and Discipline,” rather than prescribe it. This philosophy unites, describes and inspires our employees on an ongoing basis as it is emulated by Dan daily. Since he began the company, Dan has used the decades of prior experience he gained in sales, operations management and business ownership as a solid foundation for the insight and leadership he brings as President of Concept Services.

In addition to his copious professional experience, Dan has applied the lessons gained from his faith and personal experiences as a husband and father to make a difference in the lives of his employees. Even today, Dan still makes time to meet with new employees during their first week and share with them the story of how Concept Services came to be. He holds himself to a strict open-door policy and invites each employee to feel welcome to come by and chat with him whenever they would like.

Greg Harsh joined his brother, Dan Harsh, shortly after the company started as a partner and equal owner of Concept Services. Greg has managed the sales and marketing of the company and has spent the majority of his time on the road meeting prospective and current customers to keep a steady flow of new business for our operation. As Vice President, Greg has used the sales experience he gained over two decades of working with capital equipment companies as a foundation and inspiration for how he has evangelized the benefit of Concept Services to our future clients. Greg’s belief and passion for our Concept, Process and Discipline has fueled his ability to market Concept Services to new customers and employees.

Today, Greg works with our team leaders to foster the future growth of new business and in the development of making Concept Services a place that attracts and retains quality individuals.

Val started the company in February of 2002 with her husband, Dan Harsh, in the basement of their family home. She supported and shared Dan’s dream for Concept Services, and in the early years even spent time on the phones making cold calls for their customers. Since the beginning of Concept Services, she has handled the finances for the company and been an irreplaceable part of the company’s success and growth. Val has used the extensive experience she gained from her previous work in the banking/finance industry, where she balanced large amounts of cash and managed customers investment accounts, as a foundation for her involvement with Concept Services.

To this day, you will find Val visiting with new and existing employees on a personal level. She uses her time with each employee to get to know them, share her appreciation for the importance they bring as an asset for the company and provide them with an understanding of the company’s benefits.

Salesforce Developer

Jeff Harsh, Vice President of Operations, joined Concept Services as a BDM in 2011. Jeff gained experience in sales and recruiting/staffing before coming to Concept Services. During his time as a BDM and throughout his career at Concept Services, Jeff’s work ethic has been apparent as he has been the first to arrive and the last to leave since first joining the company. This work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile have been unmistakable as he has used these attributes as a means to success in the roles he has taken on beyond his tenure as a BDM. Jeff has since held the titles of Performance Manager, Account Manager, Operations Manager, Director of CRM, Director of Operations, and Business Unit Director which have led him to his current role as Vice President of Operations.

Jeff pioneered Concept Services’ partnership with Salesforce.com and our CRM division by working towards and achieving a Developer Certification. As a Certified Salesforce.com Developer, Jeff was able to develop the framework around our services for Salesforce.com implementations, support, training and more for our clients. He has also used the operational experience he gained from creating training programs and other activities in his previous roles to become Director of Operations and now VP of Operations, where he continues to support the overall needs of our organization and existing structure.

Today, Jeff splits his time across a multitude of responsibilities including the ongoing development of our management and CRM team as well as managing our production, operation and resource allocation.

Bryan Holzinger, Business Unit Director, came to Concept Services with a desire to further advance his career and used the experience gained from over a decade of previous sales and management roles, as well as his education, to become a top performing BDM at Concept Services within a relatively short amount of time. Bryan’s tenacity and consistent performance were recognized and positioned him to be an obvious and safe choice for some of our most difficult and high-level accounts.

As our company continued to grow, Bryan’s success as a BDM was re-purposed to meet our company’s needs through other positions like Team Lead, Training Coordinator and his current role of Account Manager, where he provides support, both initial and ongoing, for current BDMs and the accounts on which they work.

Today, Bryan provides support for our Supply Chain and Professional Services division and our West Campus as an Account Manager who is responsible for managing the relationship with two of our largest clients. Bryan is dedicated to the success of our clients and has a passion for growth and development of the BDM’s on his accounts.

Lauren Zak, Business Unit Director, started her career at Concept Services as a BDM. In her time as a BDM, she worked exclusively with clients in our Material Handling division. Lauren quickly gained a strong grasp on our process and translated that to success for her customers and herself. Her willingness to go beyond her normal duties led her to gain additional responsibilities and proficiencies within CRM systems and management, ushering her into the Account Manager role. As an Account Manager, Lauren strived to retain and grow her internal and external relationships with a high level of integrity, tenacity, and communication.  It is her drive to improve herself and those around her that led her into the Business Unit Director role.

Today, Lauren continues to drive growth for her clients and our company in her role as Business Unit Director, where she manages Account Managers and a team of BDMs that support them within our Material Handling & Construction division. Her positive attitude, intellect, and personable nature are being used to inspire her team to continue their own personal development and ensure consistent and positive results for our customers.
